For some reason, more and more models that I shoot are getting tattoos. Hey, it's your body and I guess you can do what you want with it but for me I hate them.
I'll tolerate small ones which can be hidden but when you use your body as a canvas for your tattoo art, it makes me shake my head. I just went on MySpace and one of my favorite models is now sporting a tattoo which was quite visible. Sorry but it made me sick to my stomach when I saw that.
If there is a job available and it comes down to a model who has a visible tattoo and one who doesn't, guess who will get the job?
Sorry but I had to vent.

- I've had a camera in my hand since I was seven years old. To their credit, my parents never said anything about the photos I took and generally encouraged my creative endeavours. I've been full time for over 30 years and have seen the trends come and go. I've developed a lot of relationships with many clients and hope it will continue through the years. Transitioning to digital has been a challenge which came at a time when I needed a kick in the butt. Now we'll see where the future takes us.
